Ah, good question. I happened to see the update to 6.6.1 come through in the App Store last night after posting my previous message. I updated but didn’t think to test the text field scrolling issue again. And now I’m trying to think of more things to type to get the text down to the border with the keyboard. Almost there…

Ah, this is looking promising! Yes it looks like the text field is indeed scrolling and allowing me to see the full text of the message I’ve typed. Very nice! Thank you!

Ok perfect! Something might have gone haywire in 6.6.0 but let me know if you see anything like that in future versions. I’m always trying to keep the parts of the app on the cutting edge, but sometimes it’s a little to far and things break 😂

The Bimmerpost App seems to have been removed from the Google app store. I made the mistake of archiving it on my Pixel. When I tried to unarchive it, Google said the app no longer exists.

I searched the thread in case this has already been answered (perhaps not well enough)...but what happened?

You are right. I just checked and I can't find it on play store or galaxy store.

I just got a new phone yesterday and was puzzled as to why it didn't install like every other app. Went to play store and confirmed it's not there. An announcement/explanation would be useful.

apptest Here’s a post where the iOS app does something wrong with the first URL in the post:

The first URL has three hyphen characters in a row. The iOS app shows the URL with an emdash character (—) followed by a hyphen (-) instead of three hyphens. This is incorrect.

I note the the URL renders correctly in the browser. So the problem seems specific to the app.

This is with BIMMERPOST v6.7.0 on my iPhone 13 mini running iOS 18.3.1.

apptest I have a bug that I can't figure out. On both my iPad (iPad Pro 11" M4) and iPhone (16 Pro Max), both running the latest version of iOS and both running the latest version of the App (6.9.1), I can't access MyForums, my Subscribed threads, or my notifications. I can not post or reply (doing this via Safari on my iMac). I have force quit the app on both devices numerous times, signed out and signed back in, and deleted and reinstalled the app (re-downloaded from the App Store). Any help?

I made some changes under the hood and jumped the gun a little. I thought 6.9.2 was in the App Store already and it’s not yet. Whoops! I changed things back for the time being, can you see if it works for you again?

OK perfect. Then I know what the issue was. The New version 6.9.2 will not have any of this crop up again. I'm going to make a few more adjustments so it might get whacky over the next 30 min or say let's say. Cross fingers

apptest Seems like there is a bug with the search function on the forum. I can perform a search, get results, but when I click on one of the results to read the thread/posts I just get a blank gray screen. This is occurring on both my iPad and iPhone and I’ve made sure to have the most current version of the app on both devices.
