I still have an IBM 8228 Token Ring network port setup tool in my desk drawer (image from someone else's web site because WFH):

It contains a 9 volt battery, and was used in the 1980's to reset every port's relay in a Token Ring MAU (hub) any time that they were moved or disconnected.

I also have a complete 10BASE5 vampire tap kit in my toolbox at work, from back in the early 1980's when ethernet ran over RG-8/U "frozen yellow garden hose" coax as a continuous bus...with no "T" connectors or branches. I may even have a few IBM Twinax solder-on connector kits laying around.....

My O2 sensor socket has been used once and sits in the tool bag collecting dust. I'm not complaining just playing the game.

3.5" floppy drive, but it's beginning to rust. It's still in the Windows XP box that is controlling the water treatment plant

Just in case, I have an external USB 3.5" floppy drive, and a parallel printer cable or two.

I don`t know, and it`s 1/2 inch . I`m not sure how it ended up in my tool box. I think it was in the garage of my first house that I bought back in the 80`s. I keep it around, It`s a "rare" tool , and it doesn't take up must space. If it came with some sort of ratchet handle I don't have it. I`ve been told by an older millwright that it belonged to a 1930`s socket set.

Probably my Eaton M90 pulley remover. I haven't had a car with an M90 in almost 9 years now.

Hey, pick on Fords all you want, but my last ford didn't have an electric water pump that took the sacrifice of 100 virgins to replace.

As far as the most useless tool in my garage, I've got an old modified ratchet extension that i heated up and bend like 15* to remove the lower thermostat housing bolt on a 1988 Ford Thunderbird. You you obviously only turn it 1/4 turn, and then you had to "reset it", but I was 17, and I couldn't figure out any way to remove that bolt.

I ended up buying a hardened bolt to replace it, and cut a slot in it so I could use a screwdriver the next time.

Same here, I have battery versions of the same tools that have just as much power and I don't have to worry about a tank! I would sell them if they were worth anything anymore
