Leather Seat Swap For Alcantara
Hi I recently bought a 120d M Sport with leathers but my dad isn't keen with leathers and he drives the car quite a bit now. As the leathers are obviously an option I would be willing to swap my leathers for Alcantara M Sport seats.

An ambitious request imo, best bet is to source an alcantara interior on EBAY and sell your existing interior by the same route.
You will of course have to pay for the interior swap yourself.

I'll give that a try. But I would have thought people would want the leathers as they're quite an expensive option when buying the car new. Some people opt for alcantara because it's free when specifying the car.

Problem for anyone changing to leather with heated seats is the wiring loom may not be the same in the non-leather car and changing that can be expensive.
Heated seats are normally controlled from a switch in the centre console and you say yours have a switch fitted on the side of the seat. This puts people off who would prefer an OEM fitting but good luck replacing the interior. I'd like leather myself but I have a sport which is not the interior you are looking for.

Thanks mate, and yeah I would have preferred a switch by the air con knobs and stuff but then again, it works the same way and has the original BMW seats, but just the switch on the side.
For people who want heated seats, the options always there. Hopefully I'll make progress on the switch from leather to cloth! |
