BMW f20 M steering wheel upgrade

Hi,
So basically I have upgraded the steering wheel from the basic (no controls) to an M steering wheel with controls. A guy managed to code the buttons to work for me however the cruise control is still not working. The car didn't came with any controls on the steering wheel from the manufacturer (no Limiter/Cruise Control). What would be necessary to do to be able to use the cruise control?
