Solar Eclipse of May 20, 2012

I thought I'd start a thread, post your pics.

Here's some of mine:

You can find the full album here. All pictures are shot on a d5100 with a 55-200 zoom, and a Tiffen ND0.9 filter. They are all JPEG normal straight out of the camera. If you want better quality pics, shoot me a PM.

Awesome shots! Thanks for sharing!

I was actually in an airplane during the eclipse, and I didn't have a window seat. I'm wondering if anyone was able to see it from the plane - that would have been crazy to watch!

I like yours better but here are mine anyways.

Used my D90 with my 18-200mm @ 200mm and my solar filter from my telescope. Totally different effect.

I couldn't get ahold of a solar filter, so I just used live view to frame my shots. My neighbors were looking at it with sunglasses and then came over and asked me, "You're not supposed to look at it, huh?" So I let them take look at my shots.

Looks like you were closer than I was to the total coverage line. They look great. Do you have some 1:1 crops? I can almost make out the texture of the moon in a few of mine at 1:1.
