New M135i owner! Hello
Hello peeps, just ordered a new M135i from ashford broad oak, should be delivered mid november got the usual extras and got it in Auto, first BMW and first RWD car and coming from a Mazda MPS its a nice step up in quality although the MPS is a much undervalued and great car.
Plans for the beemer are winter tyres and carbon performance bits on interior followed by performance steering wheel and exhaust. Also any advice on experiences of driving these in winter on winter tyres would be appreciated as its my daily and the mrs will need to drive back roads for school runs which worries me a bit. That means theres another one in ashford now then which makes minimum of three, getting too common i might sell lol Was going for an E92 M3 but when i drove both back to back the M135i felt quicker until silly speeds plus it does everything else so much better, then take running costs into consideration and it was a no brainer. Also enquired about the new S3 and monthly payments were coming out the same except Audi wanted another 3k deposit plus the next delivery batch was march at the earliest plus although awesome round the bends it just didnt have the noise and excitement the M135i brings, a tuned S3 though would be a very very capable car and the interior admittedly does knock spots of the beemers, but still boring to drive. |

I had a couple of E92 M3's before the M135i and have to say the M135i isn't an M car. But it is about 50% cheaper to run and does many things very well for everyday use.

Yeah still an itch i might have to scratch, an E60 M5 was also on the shortlist but then i just decided to get something half sensible for a few years until i save up for my wedding and have a couple of years over paying my mortgage then ill get something a bit crazier like a GTR or something.
