Excellent choice of colour! I hope to see some pics on here when you get it!

Ps M-Sport suspension will be great for going round all those round abouts in Milton Keynes!

If i'm ever driving through and i see an Estoril Blue F20 going round and round the same roundabout with a driver with a massive smile on his face, i'll know who it is!

Jon

Thanks for the welcome

Yes, I love Estoril and brings back great memories of the many Z3 Roadster meets I attended with all the Z ///M.
Was original looking at the 120d sport and for once was happy by the dealer to be talked into the M Sport once I realised that the colour choices of the 120 series otherwise was not quite to my liking.

Estoril on of my fav BMW colours and will nicely make it stand out from the non-M versions and did not quite fancy forking out 3+k for a "BMW Individual" spray paint job!

Will deffo post pics one I collect the car in 6-8 weeks time!

Congrats!

Can I ask what kind of deal you got? How much did you get off the list price and did the stealer throw anything in for free?

Deposit of £8k (my PX) and £250 p/month for 36 months - 10miles PA.
Got a discount of 1500 on list price

PX value was 8k which was the best of any of the 3 dealerships I negotiated with (Wollaston in Northampton & Elms Bedford and Scothall in MK)
managed to negotiate the 5year free servicing (@300)
managed to negotiate a free "protect" pack (paint/leather trip protect) that they trie to upsell (I thinkvalue also around 300)

I was all in all pretty happy with this deal

Thanks Jon, you beat me to it.
The Estoril Blue colour was a key factor for me.

Also the cost difference between Sport and M Sport not that big if you upgrade to leather. With the Sport the leather upgrade is about 1100 IIRC but if you upgrade to leather in the M Sport the cost to upgrade is about half of that (due to the fact that M Sport already has high spec alcantara seats compared to the Sport) so actual upgrade difference on that alone is only about £600.

With that in mind the 18" wheels, Estoril blue and other bits and pieces it makes the decision for me at least a no brainer to go to M Sport over the Sport

I do like the 17" dark allows on the Sport version, but all in all a no brainer...

This coincides with my experience (more correctly: my spreadsheet) as well. I feel I got the M styling kit for free, since I would have upgraded either the base model or the sport model to this level anyway.
To me the M styling was decisive, not the colour!

I know almost too embarrassed to say the estoril color was such a deciding factor (the the ///M trim of course), such a girly comment to make but I just loooooooooooooove the colour.

What is the ETA of your car SuperSpeed?

Not girly! An enthusiast buys his car with the heart

I ordered the 120d on Feb 9. I was offered delivery early april, that is as soon as possible after M production started. However it suits me better with early May, so that's what it is. So far I have not asked about the exact date, and I am shortening the waiting on this forum.

Great news! I just got a delivery date for my own 120d M Sport: May 3. By then it will be retrofitted with the M Performance twin tailpipes and modified diffusor. Only to make it look good, it doesn't do anything for sound or performance. Feels like cheating but oh well

Superspeed - where did you order your m performance twin tailpipes from? I'd like to do the same.

118d M Sport in Estoril coming W/C 14th May.

I bought it from my local BMW dealer, right out of the M Performance Parts catalogue. There is some work to do when fitting however, since they have to modify the diffusor.

Btw I saw the car for the first time yesterday, in the backyard of my dealer

Is this an upgrade from a single tailpipe to twin, or is this only for models with twin tailpipes?

Also, how much in total, with labour?

Cheers!

It's an upgrade for 116d, 118d and 120d (= single tailpipe).
Total cost here is NOK 6000, which is app. GBP 600. Mostly labour costs.
It's ridiculous, but you probably get it done for half the price in Britain.....

That is a sweet waiting time! I ordered the day before and they've told me end of may lol.

Sweet ride, and I completely share your opinion about estoril standing out.

4 weeks until production starts on mine now!
