Nice lenses, you lucky bastard!

I like the second pic showing the different aperture openings.

Cool, thank you for the info! I guess I will wait and see or just go for the previous generation to save a few bills.

Crappy pic, but.....I blame all my lenses being in the pic.... I am always amazed at how noisy my S3 IS is (even at ISO200). My old A80 @ ISO400 is way better than the S3 is @ 200.

I think I'm finally done adding to my lens repertoire. Only adding a couple of primes would be left. I haven't used the 70-200 or 24-105 much so far. From what little I've used the 24-105 since getting it last week, though, I'm pretty happy.

Next in line, though:

1) Unstick a pair of 77mm UV and circular polarizing filters from one another (filter wrenches don't work).....an on-going battle
2) Camera body upgrade.

I just ordered a 70-200 F2.8L IS Mk II from Amazon. $2079 with overnight shipping. The $200 instant rebate expires in 2 days so I figured I may as well go ahead and buy it now.

Congrats. That's a great lens.

Don't forget to try it with the 1.4x and 2.0x TC.

stick the lens filters in your refrigerator for a few minutes. I find when my filters stick together, I just have to expose them to different temperatures and they come apart after.

if that does work, try putting them in front of a heat vent for a minute.

or try to warm 1 and not the other. all these things have worked for me on some filters that i have on a camera that was from my grand father from back in the late 70s.

I can't help it that they don't make Jeff-proof filters. Bull in a china shop...

Very nice, I'm have a pretty similar set (1.4 50mm and 16-35 instead of 1.8 50mm and 17-40) but no macro 100mm and waiting on a 100-400 in good condition to come my way on the cheap.

Seriously. My house cost less.

And is that beast on top a lens or a bazooka?
