BMW M135i Tuned by Sportec, Up to 370 HP

Making its debut at the 2013 Geneva motor show is this M135i F21 hatchback, by Swiss tuner, Sportec.

Sportec's tuning program offers two stages. The first stage includes software tuning only, which upgrades the M135i's N55 power output to 355 hp (from the factory 315 hp). The second stage includes the software upgrades from Stage 1, plus downpipes and new exhaust system (with titanium tail pipes), which combine to give the M135i 370 hp.

At 370 hp, Sportec claims that the M135i's 0-62 mph (0-100 kmh) time drops to just 4.6 seconds, with a top speed of 171 mph (up from 155 mph from the factory).

The Sportec M135i rides on a set of lightweight 19" forged SP10 wheels (available in matte titanium, semi gloss black or white).

That's a nice little upgrade, although the exterior treatment leaves me a little cold. And, while I like the wheels, not in white for me!

How come 0-100 km/h is 4.6 with such upgrades? Isn't the m135i x-drive 0-100 4.7? If so, then an extra 50bhp only takes off a tenth of a second not worth it in my opinion.

And the transmission can handle the extra torque for 100k miles long? Anyway, bad exterior adaptations of a car which isn't pretty to look at to start with.

Just a std M135i is the better choice I guess.

It doesn't state whether this is an s-drive or x-drive, and auto or manual (in the case of s-drive).
Each has different standard 0-100 times, with the manual s-drive being the 'slowest' at 5.1 s.

Looks great and nice specs but the white wheels = bitch to clean. I wish we got the hatchbacks in the US.

Love the white rims. Wish we could get the hatch in the US. Would be my next car if it were.

This a manual M135i, so from 5.1 to 4.6 is a big difference.
hence u put this upgrades may take your x drive to 4.2sec bye2 M3 and 1M

It looks as if they went with matte black then realized they need to spice things up. So they crewed it but to look like the finished product you see here. It just does not look well thought out.

Thats only one part of the package, 0-60 times are nowhere near the whole story when tunes are involved. In gear times, response, all better indicators for everyday driving and improvements an ECU tune gives you.

Found some specs on the 19" forged wheels from their official site. Seems highly questionable to fit 9x19 front & 10x19 rear on a M135i, regardless of the offset. They claim those are ET 22 & 25, which would be E90 M3 spec width and offset.

I'm wowed by the performance but not the look of the car. Looks like it's been crashed into Halfords

Does anyone do a widebody for the M135i? The original M Coupe (go team breadwagon!) was ugly, but the ridiculous flares in the rear signaled to onlookers that it meant business. The F20 has the same ugly duckling look, but lacks any standout feature.

370 crank hp? too bad the M135i isn't available in the states, Burger Tuning would have probably made a tune for the platform...their stage2 tune + dp + e85mix on the F30 N55 = 370whp (435hp)

Porsche GT3RS = 3157lbs = 450hp = 7.02lb/hp
BMW M135i = 3168lbs = 435hp = 7.28lb/hp
BMW E92 M3 = 3704lbs = 414hp = 8.95 lb/hp
