A valet in Monaco crashes a LaFerrari
As an exotic owner, this is your biggest nightmare. Looks like a parking brake malfunction tbh.

thats really odd. not sure what happened. idk if its valet error.
i do know that on 458s it will disengage the parking brake if you are sitting in 1st or R and apply light throttle. you will feel some resistance and the the brake will release. my guess its either a car error or he left it 1st and applied the parking brake. the car then sensed some type of load and disengaged the brake. to park these cars you need to leave it in first and shut it off, or if you want to idle you put it in neutral then pull parking brake.

It’s been a long time since I’ve driven a 458, but I don’t think it had a P button either, probably the same across other models. |

Driven my share of Ferraris, you can hear the parking brake engage. When someone not in the car it should never have moved. I would have to go test this but I think the car would even go into park or N if you open the door after putting the parking brake on.
Either way, this does not look like a valet, why would a valet be getting in and out of customers cars with a side strapped purse?!?!? That alone would have pissed me off if I was the owner. |

The bigger question is... why do so many "men" in this video have purses?

$500K to the owner would be like $500 for us normal folks. Wouldn't make a dent in his fortune
