Right, who wants to buy a "Death coupe"..

I am sure the Audi A4 would sell better in Asia if they called it something else. Chinese and Japanese skip the number four in building levels and house numbers for that reason. They don't want to be reminded of death all the time.

A rose by any name would look just as ugly. the 1 and 2 series are equally ugly no matter what you call it.

The New 1 Series become FWD , the One Series As we Know it, become the 2 Series At least we got the Choice between FWD and RWD

I don't like what they do with the Numbers... They should Call the Small Ones Isetta or something...

SCOTT,

What about the potential for a 2 Series Gran Coupe, something you had touched upon in past posts? Is that getting closer to becoming a reality? I think it would be a huge seller in the US and all of North America for that matter.

I have a hard time spitting out "4-er"... "four-ererer". 3-er, 5-er, etc, no problem but 4-er is tough! LOL!

That looks great, "M2" instead of the "1M, 1M coupe, 1 series M, 1 series M coupe" etc. jargon that we have now. A car shouldn't have 50 possible names.

I hope BMW M just go to town on this 2 platform and forget about robbing M3 sales. Just make it as good a car as possible. Who cares if a cheaper car is faster? The M3 is faster than the M6 round the ring for gods sake. The M3 will always sell.

The A4L is the best selling car in it's segment in China , is that because of the name or the product?

BMW will be selling a 3er Li in China for the first time , Audi should be concerned.
