Those medium blues on those configurators all seem to run together after a while into the same color...Monte Carlo, Interlagos, Le Mans, Estoril II, etc. Kinda like the new M5 looks so good in MC blue onthe visualizer until you look at some real pics of MC blue & remember how water-colorish it looks...

Well I'd like to see one of these 120s in a mix between Dakar or Dakar II (which always comes out in this deliciously pale pale yellow until you see a photo taken by somebody with a real camera & it looks like washed out banana without the spots) & Valencia Orange...

If they get it just right it would look exactly as pissed off as everyone seems to be about the way the car looks. Hell, I wish we had those little bims in the states...even at the current level of ugliness they'd whomp all the damnes yarises & fits & other pieces of far east crap...

Absolute piece of shit. Nothing saves it. The plastic rear diffuser is cheap and fugly. BTW, they use the same (almost) fugly thing on the 6-Series M sport! I mean WTF BMW???!!!

Anyway the new 1-Series is a piece of shit design, period. Fail of the century.

I really want to like this car...and every time I see pics I say to myself: "Now, keep an open mind...it will grow on you."

Then, I see that huge, turned-up, frog-pig nose and...it's over. I can't imagine owning one...ugly.

The side-view, especially in that grey color, reminds me of a Z3 ///M coupé

It reminds me of when you caught a fish deep down, and you pull it up to fast to the surface...
The pressure difference will make those fish eyes pop out, kinda like the new 1 series.

Anyone sees the resemblance here?

It looks better with the msport but that giant plastic rear diffuser went and pissed me right off.

That plastic belongs on a 18k honda not a 30-40k BMW. I just compared a diesel A1 and A3 to the 1er on the audi UK and bmw UK sites and at Ł38,000 it seems kind of ridiculous.

The rear diffuser might look better painted, because otherwise it does not look proportionate.

I'm look forward to seeing it in the flesh, and will reserve judgement until that point .

No thanks!

I am sooo glad to have my E82! This new look is just plain ugly.... Would not buy one. Looks cheap. Ugly, ugly rear diffuser. Headlights are just weird. Hoping they don't do this to the recently announced M2!

Sigh.... might have to go with an F-30 after seeing this.... hope BMW listens to people's feedback and makes some change before the F22 comes out....
