Yes, as long as the same units are used, the crossing point between torque and power will always be at the same RPM.

It just means the stage1 graph or stage2 graph used a different scale for hp/torque. Eg both graphs did not use same scale originally. No more, no less.

Hi guys. I'm thinking about shipping my ecu to BR in Belgium. Or is this remap available in Norway or Sweden?

Yes, I think the Norwegian tuners can do it as well, like Superchip.

Any updates on the cars that have issues? How did it happen, how where they tuned (ECU tuning, tuning box, etc)?

They must have been running too low octane gas.

low octane gas or not. a modern engine can adjust to all variables. if caused by a tune some limits must have been moved/deleted outside of the engines capabilities.

The most likely cause is overheating. If you take advantage of almost twice the power output of what the engine is made for, things will get very warm. If there were no issues with that kind of power, BMW would have offered it themselves. It is not as if they don't know how to make such a tune.

I'd agree...overheating, possibly excess boost, and insufficient additional fueling in the tune.

You can log boost, coolant temperature and oil temperature. Fuel mixture and ignition advance are probably more difficult.

You can log EVERYTHING with a OBD2 dongle and eg. the Torque app

Do you find fuel mixture and ignition advance too? I haven't found those, and RPM is not working in our 116i for some reason.

BMW also has an OBD2 dongle and a nice app for IOS/Android. Looks very nice.

Yes the only thing I cannot log/display realtime is oil temp. I am using the OBDlink LX.
