Draining coolant. Help!!
Good evening guys, so I should completely replace the radiator fluid.
Looking on the Internet, there is a procedure to prevent air bubbles from forming in the circuit. This procedure (which you will surely know) is carried out like this: Once you have completely emptied the circuit and refilled it again, close the tank cap - start the procedure by turning on the ignition - low beams ON - temperature at maximum and fan at minimum - And press the accelerator pedal all the way down for 10 sec. The process will take approximately 10/12 minutes. Now a doubt has arisen in my mind. Should the vent valve located on the tray next to the main cap remain open or closed during the process? Because seeing some videos there are those who keep it open and those who keep it closed. |
