LED Tail light Replacement

Hello guys.

My car is 2012 Pre-LCI 118i

The left side of my tail light (LED) needs to be changed.

However, I can not find proper information which products I need and how to change the LED (Brake light) ones.

Please help ~~ Thank you

Hello.

You should search before you post. I've done it for you:

https://f20.1addicts.com/forums/show...highlight=led;

https://f20.1addicts.com/forums/show...&highlight=led.

One time.

And by the way, the LED part is the side light. For brake light replace the bulb (see the manual ).

Thank you for the reply.

I did find out those articles in this forum actually but they didn't seem to clarify the problem.

So the Only way to fix the dimmer LED is to change the whole light assembly?

Dimmer difference is really annoying when watching them.

You should have added to one of those already existing threads instead of creating another one then: it's best to have all the discussion in one place. To me, they do clarify.

Yes. Unless you like the hard way first: the light is difficult to dis/re-assemble and it takes a qualified effort to fix the issue.
