116i F20 - Stopper underneath trunk emblem button?

Hi All,

For 51247248535, which swivels to open the trunk, when you release, there is a loud clunk as the emblem returns to the closed position.

Underneath the emblem there is a small hole in the housing roughly where a rubber stopper might go, is ours missing the stopper?

Nothing obvious here:

and all the pics I’ve found for the assembly only show the closed position for the emblem.

No, it's not. And be tender with the trunk lid, by the way: some reported a broken lock.
