2013 BMW 128i  [9.50]
2007 328xi  [10.00]
I'm all set with my 2013 128i M-Sport stick.

That's my future ICE classic I expect to have to drive 50 miles to fill up when no gas stations remain.

Without any doubt this is absolutely the case. I had a 2013 128i 6MT M Sport and stupidly sold it. Gotta get another.

My logic for buying a V8 was this is the last chance saloon. Even if they haven't been outlawed before 2030, it's going to be £5 a liter of super long before then...

M760i. Don't drive many miles now that I have a corporate daily driver, so the fuel cost is not a big factor. I'll likely keep it 10-12 years minimum. I'm sure it's my "last" ICE car, so why not get a "real" one.

going to test drive a 2011 e92 m3 tomorrow (dct). Been about 6-7 years since i got behind the wheel of one. Will see how it goes. I've been looking for an f80 replacement and drove the m2c and lc500, but didn't really care for either.

I still think at times I should have gone that way instead of the 911.

I sometimes feel myself cheating a bit and look at Lotus, don't tell the bug.

Considering BMW just designed and built a brand new V8 engine, the S68, I would expect another 6+ years worth of V8 Power from BMW. Sure they're adding a very small 48 volt system that mounts directly to the transmission, but that's more or less for helping starts during stop n go traffic. This new S68 will be in EVERY V8 platform from the M5 to everything M-lite. The new M5 is rumored to have 700+ HP.

I passed on the E92 after my local, indy exotic mechanic asked I wanted to help him buy another Viper (because of maintenance/repair costs) and suggested a 135i.

I had my 135i roughly 6k miles over 1.5 years (I bought it with 25k miles on it) and ditched it once we couldn't figure out if the horrible noise was the beginning of rod knock or something in the DCT.

Thoroughly smitten by my 997.1 GT3. Miss my M2C, but I love the noises the 911 makes. I really want to pick up a 458…..

After scouring the market for anything that could potentially replace my FF, I have come to the conclusion that the FF is simply the best all around car ever made. There’s truly nothing like it. But I still want to roll around in a Phantom Coupe or Brooklands coupe one of these days…

The issue is so many ppl are realizing this and rushing to buy their dream cars which is inflating demand when the supply is already low due to parts/labor shortages etc.

What pure ICE cars / trucks / SUVs are you considering that are new for sale or that are coming out in the near future? Do you have a deposit? how hard are they to get? What are the dealers asking over MSRP?

These are NEW cars that I’m personally excited to drive and potentially own:
1. C8 Z06 - deposit placed, 3-4yr wait
2. Mustang Mach 1 - order placed, eta unknown. Ppl that placed orders in 2021 still haven’t got their production dates.
3. BMW M2 - might be the last great ICE BMW. Hope it looks great as it will have normal grills, Manual transmission and RWD only.
4. Nissan Z - love the design. Waiting to see reviews and hopefully drive one.
5. Toyota GR86 - If all else fails, will pick one up before they get cancelled.
6. LC500 - Hope they release a cool version with Performance package.
7. 911 - Multiple deposits, doesn’t look promising for a new one unless you want to pay $50k + over MSRP.
8. MB AMG GT - this will be coupe version of the SL coming out soon.
9. GRMN Supra - Manual Supra using M3 engine. I’m sure these will be impossible to get.
10. Dodge Challenger - I’m sure they are doing something crazy for the final versions set for 2023.
11. Lotus Emira - Looks cool

There are too many used cars to list that I like but those you can get at anytime, wanted to focus on new cars and their availability.
Not sure is anyone mentioned, the rule is not like that. It is a credit system. For every efficient car sold, you get some credit, the get subtracted by selling an inefficient car. Gas guzzler will still exist as too many manufacturers have build up enough credit to ride on that for much later than 2026 or even 2030. So don’t get caught by the headlight

I have an order in on a C8 Z06.

Last ICE vette and 1st Mid Engine. Considering to Add others. I typically switch cars fairly often but this one will be a keeper.

I expect I'll keep my M5 for a couple more years and replace it as soon as the new version comes out, assuming it will be 8 cylinders + electric boost.
