Blower fan noise

My car has only 4400miles on it. When I set the thermostat to max hot, I get a loud grinding noise from the vents. This happens when I turn the speed above 3.

What is the issue? is anyone else experiencing this?

Had mine replaced ,after 9000 miles
New one Still noisy .not sure if they even replaced it at all .

Mine developed this at about 8k miles, and I decided to leave getting it fixed till my first service, it randomly went quiet again about a month ago (about 3000 miles after it started).

I had this problem. Took it to the dealer and they said it was a known problem. Apparently leaves get down onto the fan causing the noise (they're not supposed to get in). They cleaned it out and fitted a mesh vent to prevent leaves getting in. It's fine now.

I had this problem too, or should i say have.

My dealer advised the car needed a software update....which it had and seemed to resolve the problem.

However its started makin that awful noise again but this time its intermittent.

Must be within 6 months

Will be taking it back shortly..

Hi! I got the service yesterday. The service said to me that they cleaned up the filter but the noise is still coming out so the blower motor has to be exchanged. However, the dealership did not have the stock and I made another appointment for swapping the blower motor. Hopefully, everything will be fixed after changing the motor!

Yep my car has been to my dealer today...

They fitted a modification in the form of mesh as there were leaves inside.

No suprise there.

i had the problem- it went into the dealers 4 times- there is a problem with a part under the hood, which they have replaced, and its now fixed. i have no noise any more
