Drivers Door not opening.... Help

Hi can anyone help ? My drivers door locks and unlocks with central locking ok but won’t open from outside with door handle but will open from the inside door handle. What would the cause of this be ?? Thanks

If the door is unlocked then maybe the Bowden cable that connects the handle to the latch has become detached or a clip / mounting for it is broken (assuming the handle is moving its normal distance when pulled).

Ok thanks, central locking all work fine and can undo door from inside, door handle moves as it should so I’ve ordered a new cable just in case and I’ll take door card off at weekend see what’s going on
