Como, I beleive Red is special order. When I ordered mine Black were carried as stock but would`ve needed to wait a week for Red.

Simply a difference in finishing costs.

In addition to red, we can also offer custom colors - silver, yellow, and even any original BMW color code to match your car. There may be additional cost depending on exactly what color you choose.

asked in anoher thread, can you get xdrilled rotors with this package? do most 17" wheels fit over these? any pictures after some wear on the rotors? they look odd in the virgin state as there is little sweep on that rotor surface

We can provide drilled rotors, but strongly urge against it for performance use (which is why they are not an option on the website). Dilled rotor option would add $175 per axle kit.

Remember that we're offering 10% off right now:

http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/pbc/fitments_E90_330.htm

What you also want to consider is your future replacement costs for the normal wear items, particularly pads and rotors.

Let's compare:

replacement slotted rotors (each):

UUC/Wilwood: $138*
Brembo: $329 (disc only) OR $829 (complete with hat) (+$191 OR +$691)

* UUC slotted rotor is a complete 1-piece unit - complete new rotor and hat each time.

street pads:

Wilwood: $71.22
Brembo: $175 (+$103.78)

race pads:

Wilwood: $123.75
Brembo: $300 (+$176.25)

How would these fit behind 19" RGR or RS-Gt's? Also, are you guys planning out with coming out with a larger size braking system?

Should be no problem at all; with the specific rotor hat offset that the E90/E92 uses, and the excellent clearance of BBS wheels, fitment should not be a problem.

Yes. We'll have an "enduro" kit available, designed for the 335 that could also be fitted to earlier 325/330 models.

I know the BBS RGR's and RS-GT's had a bit of a problem with BBK's. I know for sure about the RGR's because I had them on my 330i before I got my ZHP.
Besides, I'm actually planning to get the BBK for the e92 anyways.

Any ETA/pricing for the Enduro kit?

What are the thoughts on replacement rotor availability two years from now? Brembo has that feeling like they've been around forever and will always be around (but so did BBS ...). I've heard the Wilwood name for a few years now. And I know you guys have been around since at least the e36 days.

My fear is getting stuck with a BBK that I can't buy replacement parts for and having to scrap it.

Wilwood is a name that has been around for a long time. They are huge in the racing community. They had gigantic brakes (atleast for BMW's) before brembo started producing their 15" line for the 3 series. I wouldn't worry about them going out of business.

I could concider this kit, but after the clutch I bought from you to my M3 E46 I wouldnt dare to buy from you again.

The clutch didnt fit and you ignored my E-mails later on. Im just saying that I didnt get any support when I wasted 1500USD in nothing. The clutch was to thin and it couldnt engage properly and it was installed by a Company in Sweden ( www.alutech.se ) and they have very long experience in race engineering so the clutch was not mounted incorrect.

The clutch was too thin when they opened it up again and measured the package. It wouldnt barely move forward so we remounted the OEM-clutch and it worked flawless.

Just keep in mind that you might not get the service and support if you buy from them, I didnt.

This post is not meant to start a forum bashing, Im just sharing my experience with UUC.

Im sure that there are others who have a great experience dealing with the UUC-guys.

My 2 cents

They look awesome and given UUC's reputation, I am sure they work flawlessly.

I am a bit surprised at the price though.

Front only at $2,298

Other vendors offer similar Wilwood SL6R 6-piston calipers with 355 mm slotted 2-piece rotors (for Corvette) or 328 mm (for E36 M3) at 10% off Wilwood price list i-e about $1,700.

Here UUC clearly puts a hefty premium on Wilwood price list.

For example, Wilwood charges about $110 (MSRP) for drilled disk option (I know, not a good idea) when UUC charges $175 for that same option.
