Poor quality but you can see the size in comparison to the contact area and the current 3m tape I have put on I went with the logic of put as much ducking tape on as you can fit

If the spoiler is quite light then the contact area should be ample as it isn't doing any real aero work.

You will be sick of peeling the backing off that little lot.
Broader tape trimmed to fit the mount would have been better or wider strips all laid the same way, again trimmed to mounting point.

Hey,
I fitted mine with chemical adhesive supplied with the spoiler. which ebay seller did you purchase from? my spoiler only weighs 1kg so the tape probably would of done the trick but it gets windy above 120 if you use the tape you will have to ensure you compress it hard when applying the bumper otherwise it may leave a "gap" around the contact area. I cant explain how much I love my splitter, it looks truly awesome, really fits the contours of the M Sport bumper perfectly. |
