Isnt there some collaboration between bimmerpost and e46fanatics and thats why there is no e46 forum here?

Or is the e46 too old? It shares part of the timeline and tech with the e85 z4 (but there's also no z3 forum here)

There is the 1 series forum called 1 addicts here. Maybe they can incorporate it into here.

If owning a 1 or a 2 makes you an "addict" what does continuing to shell out the repair money to keep an E46 going year after year make ya?

You would take it to the bmw certified classic center or DIY to avoid BMW tax. Vintage E46 cars are popular plenty of YouTube content.

https://bmwusaservice.com/classiccars

E46 isn't that old still looks modern from the early 2000s. E36 is maybe a classic by now.

Maybe because E46 and M3 are not synonymous

While there is no dedicated E46 forum on Bimmerpost at the time of writing, there is a dedicated general discussion for the E46 M3 as a subforum of M3Post.

I've been a member on M3forum for nearly 20 years now. I have to say it's easily the best forum resource for E46 M3's, but today it's mainly only active in the off topic sections.

Don't see why it wouldn't hurt having an E46 M3 page here on Bimmerpost, but M3forum.net is where it all started when the car was released, and therefore has lots of great info on there.

Haha I'm just speaking from shelling out more in repairing an E46 ZHP than I paid for it. Steering is way better tho

I'm with you. Including repairs, mods, clear wrap and ceramic coating I'm at almost 3x the value of the car
