Update:

Cooked up the Tomahawk last night. Seared it for 2-3 min on each side on high temp outdoor grill. Then put in oven at 375 for about 30 min. Honestly rate it a 10/10. Was a superb steak. Even my wife who can be painfully candid about things like this and likes to take contrarian views agreed it was an awesome steak.

Since it was an "American" Wagyu and not pure Japanese, it was $46/lb. I weighed the bone and it was 9 ounces. Therefore the bone itself was about $24-ouch. But it was all very well worth it and glad we had the fun of cooking up such a nice piece of meat.

We went to a new Seafood store that have big frozen lobster tails. I wasn't disappointed. This guy is 1.75lbs. This is going to be yummy!

So good. All from scratch.

Pâte à Pâté crust. Filling based on sage roux with house-made chicken stock. Filling includes carrots, peas, celery, parsley and pearl onions.
And chicken!

Shortcrust pastry is near the top of my favorite food items.
