What tire size is legal ?

Hello, I have a F20 (I think LCI?).

I want to change my tire and the rim, possibly slightly bigger ones.
I know that in france, the wheel size (rim + tire) must be ± 3% of the original wheel size.

I actually have sheet metal rim, 205/55 R 16 W, but the car isn't new and I don't know the original wheel size, can someone tell me?

I have this under the door, can I put anything from this table?

Hello. "Don't think. Feel!" : you can find clarification in the forum's "sticky" model introductory threads, or, say, here.

There are wheel size calculators available online.

You can find current suggestions here: https://www.bmw.co.uk/en/topics/owne...figurator.html.

Everything applicable (OEM) is listed here (adjust car selection to yours): rims, tires.

Sure, you can. Except for the bottom line (125/80R17 - it's an emergency wheel) and wide wheels (8J rims, 245 tires) are for the rear only.

If you choose to proceed with non-OEM rims make sure the parameters match OEM rims completely (diameter, width, offset). Or search the forum for non-standard wheels discussions (there were some, I recall).

Thank you very much.

I do have the LCI version

I didn't think of using the 'realoem' site for this at all!
Now I know what to search for, because it's too expensive for me ^^
