Hi all!

Reading about the new F-20 I heard that many pages commented the fact that the 1 series is the only one in the BMW family that does not have the x-Drive as an extra option, and that this may change with this new F-20.
Some of this information comes from conversations from reviewers and people working on BMW.

Also, some versions have been catched with some special "gadgets" on it's wheels, usually used to test 4x4 versions: http://www.worldcarfans.com/10907222...l-wheel-xdrive



But the fact is that were I live, a wet and cold place, water and lots of snow are present all along the year, and even I love this car, rear-wheel can be pretty dangerous/useless with this climate.

Does any body know if there's going to have this option in the future? Would love that.

Hi, so far as i know f20 120 xd should be released in the future (maybe by the end of this year).

Thanks for your answer and for the information. Do you know that trough any special BMW direct information or just by the things commented in some websites?

In fact I don't really understand why all BMW series excepts this one have this option.

If the 120xd comes true, it's going to become the perfect car for me.

Infomation is based on discussion with bmw dealer and actual bmw release plan for next period, but plans can be changed....

Plans can also be changed to release it earlier though?

Heard something that it would only be available with 6 cilinder engines, hope not
