I have had the pleasure of driving all the m3 generations(not these specific collectors models), and if you include the 1m into that equation, then yes i would agree that the 1m was the most fun to drive hard. But i stick to my guns that the s65 is the best m3 engine ever made, and for that reason i will keep the e90m3 forever. Still wouldn't mind adding a 1m into my stable, but the prices are outrageous.

I agree that Mr Catchpole's latest video on the E92GTS left a lot to be desired...still wondering myself if there is any more power to be had on the Power button in the E92GTS, having owned a regular E90 M3 that wasn't the case, I believe that was a mistake...with that said his review on the manual 911 GT3 was on point.

Also I think you need to check your facts on weights.. The e92 GTS has a curb weight of 1543kg. The f80 CS has a curb weight of 1662kg. Compared to the e46 CSL it's a bit of a porker for sure but then again everything short of a McLaren is... even the Ferrari 458 weighs 1565kg

I get about 1 more mile per gallon average in my F80 M3 than I did in my E92 M3. Both had manual transmission and I drove both similarly. The E92 M3 + ESS supercharger kit actually got the same mileage as my F80 M3 did stock when averaged over several months. If we got rid of the V8 for gas mileage, it was a waste of time IMO.

I enjoyed these videos. He's a bit dry but at the same time he's not a bad driver in the wet.

Coincidentally saw this car (same model and color) parked outside my office.
Quite stunning.

BMW made 274 fire orange e92 m3's, the highest of any individual colour on the e92... Or were you talking about the f80 CS?

Personally, I appreciate his work, have always enjoyed his stuff. Great to see the M3 showcased like this, would be interesting to see lap times, but who'd really approve that...

Still sitting here wondering why Mr. Pole and Carfection insisted on not using the GTS. The "not an M3" argument is lame because splitting the line into M3/4 was lame to begin with.
Can't be an availability issue - they were able to find an E36 GT and E92 GTS. They could have come on the F82 GTS subforum and I'm sure one of our European members would have loaned their car |

Probably the most douchey is the talking with the hands. Everyone has to talk to each other while pointing because that's what they saw on MTV TRL growing up as a kid. This guy is literally sticking his hand out the window just to talk at his homie in the car in front of him.

One more thing about these youtube idiots. They flaunt an extravagant lifestyle full of $100k+ sports cars and supercars, expensive mods and "ballar" lifestyles then come home to their...
apartment. Hey, I lived in an apartment, nothing wrong with that, but they just spent the entire video being self-entitled shutting down a public road and taunting the public who were protesting their illegal and disruptive activity and glamorizing self-indulgence and posturing (like the "Yur Weak" license plate, throwing water into an open window of a passer-by). In what position are they belittling police officers and lifeguards who have respectable jobs and maybe don't use cars as extensions of their egos at the expense of others?
