Bm3 tune 125 lci

Hi,

Been doing some research on bm3 tuning, can't seem to find anyone that has tuned a 125i LCI model with the n20 engine; but plenty have tuned the 328/428 n20. Has anyone had any experience doing a 91 ots stage 1 bm3 tune on a 125i?

curious as well. be nice if the 125i can be pushed to the same level as the 328i on stock internals.

Please stay away from JB4. I tried to get it running perfectly on my F20 N55 for 3 years and decided to give up early this year. Running MHD now.

JB4 is ok for brute power but daily drive ability will suffer.

useful information. I just want a reasonable power and less turbo lag which more comfortable for daily drive.

Unless the OEM map (software) intentionally create lag (I highly doubt this) then a tune cannot reduce that. The lag is a consequence of the physical size of the turbo.

Do you also feel it laggy driving in Sport+ mode?

Sport+ changes the pedal mapping, so you get full throttle with a smaller pedal movement. It doesn't change the lag. If the lag feels longer in Comfort mode, the lag you feel is in your ancle! :-)

If you prefer something that doesn’t change OM original settings try VenturaTuning powerbox, for that engine 252Hp and 360NM, they export worldwide.

I just flashed BM3 last night on my N20 125i. flash was super easy took all of about 10 minutes.
I flashed stage 1 93 octane and am running a cat back exhaust, otherwise stock.

This has made a huge difference, power delivery is smoother and more constant, feels like a new car, i am going to flash the gearbox after work today and adjust the burbles a little more so i can annoy my neighbors

EDIT:
I also created my account to respond to this as i couldnt find anyone else who had done this to their 125i
