Voice control
Another question from me who is having trouble finding my way around the car, I have a 116 sport with Auto air con pack (interior comfort pack) I think. Does voice control work as standard? Or was it an extra I have not got?
Thanks again |

It might be an extra when you add any of the phone options. Perhaps the best is just to try it on your steering wheel on the right, just below the volume + & - is a button with a stylized face on it. Press it and teh F20 should talk to you and ask you to speak your command It's far from perfect though...
BTW - didn't you get an explanation of your car when you got it? I got a course of about an hour. |

That's additional even u find the voice control button on the steering wheel, that button just does not work.
I thought I have this function too when I first picked up my 118i Sport and see that button. |

I think it is integrated in the Nav system professional (option 609). Its actually quite good for changing between menu screens and radio, but not so good with phone dialing, etc. eg., I can't make it dial a Greek name contact from my phonebook..

It is quiet funny all the suggestions the voice is giving you when commanding a name in your own language.
Try pronounce it with an English touch, at least that helps for my (Norwegian) phonebook
