Winter tyres

Hi folks ,

Have any of you guys bought either tyres yet? Know of any good deals going?

I'm quite happy with steel wheels etc, but need the rft .

I will not use runflat tyres.
Michelin has a new tyre out now called X-Ice 3. I think I will go for those, as I have been very happy with the performance of X-Ice 2 on previous cars. Pretty much the only Nordic studless winter tyre that does okay on bare roads without disturbing the DSC-system.

Those X-Ice 3 are an excellent tyre. Given that they're not due until this fall, I wonder how hard they'll be to get hold of? The Goodyear Ultragrip might be a close contender.
