Awesome light in that GT-R pics.

How did you like the 1D? I see it's not so good with high ISO.

Yup, once the sun is gone the 1D starts to lose its game quickly. If I had stayed longer I would have switched to the 5D2.

The 1D focus is crazy fast, I was able to get shots the 5D2 would never have had a chance at.

Right now I'm thinking about selling both bodies and dropping the 5 grand on a 1D4. The thing is I'm not sure I want to give up the 5D2. It is such a beast when it comes to image quality. But the focus system really holds it back, plus I think the 5D3 is probably going to be announced later this year. If I sell it now I'll take less of a hit.

Awesome shots! I especially love the first one. I've only been able to drive that road once, and it was in a rental Chevy Malibu

have you tryed out the 7D? i suspect that they will put the AF system from it into the new 5D, which is very fast and has a lot of different settings to play with (which i think the 1D has)

either way, if that system goes into the 5DIII i'll be looking at upgrading to it.

though i doubt it will get a faster mirror for faster FPS time will tell.
