I'm a big fan of the Mazda 6, we got my ex-wife a 2015 GT (new) with everything. Including the iLoop or whatever, the 4 cylinder never felt underpowered for such a large vehicle. The auto transmission in the car was great for a commuter.

Could fit 4 adults comfortably, huge trunk, and would knock down 40+ mpg on the highway.

The Mazda displays subtle aggression. It has some aggressive design cues, but it is not overtly in your face. I think the design is quite handsome and elegant, and will age extremely well, could easily pass for a luxury car, and the same goes for the interior, easily the best looking Mid-Size Family sedan. My son has a 6-Signature and the car is quite excellent in most regards, shame the RWD model is not going to happen though

Anyone else agree? Disagree?
Yes, it has gone too far, for me.
Shocking designs are cheaper and easier than beautiful ones it seems.

I don't know about too far but it's not for me on every car I want to own. It's a style but not one that suits me for the family truckster. When we ordered our X5 M50i, the sales guy looked at us like we had three heads because we wanted one with some color and did not want the blacked out grill and trim. He must have called it a unicorn several times from order through the delivery process because, you know, everyone likes the more aggressive look on the M50i. "That car is a unicorn but it's your unicorn and it'll be in your garage." Or we especially like the comment, "If I see that X5 on the road I'll know who's driving it because there won't be another one." Uh, OK, well, I'm glad BMW makes black and gray cars with black interiors and blacked out trim for people like you.

So what do you think? Agressive enough for you?

I think the X5/3 are really nicely designed SUV's. But I think the "aggressive" style is a bit stupid now, my dad's Honda looks like it's angry, probably because I make fun of it's four cylinder engine all the time, but it does not have the go of my mom's 2013 vw Passat (this might become a rant of my dads crv, just a warning), and so to the "style" it has a massive blind spot at the rear sides, and one at the hood because it's raised… ITS A FOUR CYLINDER IT DOSNT NEED TO BE RAISED FOR CRYING OUT LOUD-

But other than that, I don't think exotic cars have gone overboard with it, I guess I just think that if a car can go as fast as it looks then it's fine with me. Counter point, the new 7er is horrid… fight me.
