Exclamation Tire type on M-Sport BMW's

Hi All,

I'm currently waiting for my '14 F21 118i M-Sport.
My question is what tires came standard with your M-Sport BMW?
If anyone know's what tire comes standard with the rim (18" M light alloy wheels Star-spoke style 386 M) that would be great if you can share that information as well.

There have been some discussions about this before, and it seems to be a rather wide range of tyre brands. So basically you can never know before you get the car.

A friend of mine with a 116i M-Sport has Bridgestone S001 (18'' rims).

Other tyres that are factory fitted for the 18'' are the following:

- Continental SportContact 5 SSR
- Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 ROF
- Pirelli P Zero

So, your car can come with any of the above 4 tyres.

Yes, I picked up my 125i Msport yesterday, and it has the 386 M rims and the tires I listed. But it may be different in your country.

Luck of the draw.

I got the P Zeros which i'm pretty happy about. People with the Goodyears seem to be pretty happy with them as well. My mate got the Continentals on his M135i and they are a bit sketchy at speed.

Having had the bridegstones on 2 previous BMWs I was over the moon i didn't get them this time. They really were crap.

Jan '13 build 125i M-sport came on P-zero's in South Africa.

Probably the most expensive of the bunch to replace, or is it just a myth pirelli's are more expensive than other tyres?

But why would you replace them with new Pirellis when you can use Michelin Pilot Supersport?

Oh how I would love the Pirelli's.
It's not a myth, they are the most expensive but they are one of if not the best brand of tires in the world.

My 125i came with Bridgestone Potenza S001. I've now replaced those with Michelin Pilot Super Sport. The grip levels on these tyres is amazing, dry or wet. I agree with ovekvam, you cant go past the Michelin PSS...
