I am looking to buy a 118i, however I want one with the capability of streaming songs via the audio bluetooth from my iPhone.

After looking for months I am continously having to ask sellers whether it has the audio capability and they either do not know or 9 times out of 10 it doesn't have the capability.

Could anybody here confirm what I should specifically look out for on ads that would indicate it has the bluetooth audio streaming capability (not just the phone calls)?

All 1 series cars produced from July 2014 onwards have audio streaming as standard. Before that, the enhanced Bluetooth option was required.

Do you know if there is anything in particular that would be on the ads of 2011-2014 that would suggest it has the added option? I am finding more and more people I am asking either do not know (not savvy with the bluetooth audio streaming, just the phone calls). Or either doesn't have it completely.

If you can obtain the VIN you can check the full spec at http://bimmer.work.
Also, enhanced BT is included in the Pro nav package (with the bigger screen).
