Hi all would be really grateful if you could help with a few things.

Just bought a f20 white bmw sport...

1) Has anyone done a front bumper conversion from the sport to the msport bumper... if so any pics, place you got the new bumper etc, was it easy?

2) what is this usb for (software updates?) (pics attached)?

3) I really need parking sensors, any recommendation. I was thinking of these guys doing it http://www.roadradio.com/....

4) I would really like to change the i drive unit (to a bigger one) as i do not have navigation or any cool internet features.. how would i search for this, is it called an idrive head unit (the one i have only has radio cd external usb device aux and then caller assist radio and want to replace it with one that has DAB radio, navigation, full multimedia, bigger screen).

5) I want to do a steering wheel change to the sport style (thinner) like one you find on an f30, this possible? any examples?

1)it has been done,cant offer a direct topic though...never been interested because of the high price of the conversion.
2)no idea
3)to retrofit the parking sensor will be very expensive especially the front ones,from my research ( I wanted them too lol) some people spent 1600$ for them...rear parking sensors will also be fairly expensive because you need to connect them to your idrive system,i myself have rear parking sensors on my f20 and when you put the car in reverse you will get your miniature car on the idrive system and it shows you the distance you have until you hit an object,and also the place where it is behind you...so I doubt its a cheap fit
4)I suppose you are talking about the screen you get with the professional navigation system,ive also been looking for answers for this question myself,where I can get one,the price etc;and ofc I have failed to find an answer....all I have found are expensive 2000+ retrofit kits that come with navigation and all which are not worth it

There's a retrofit kit available: 1' F20 LCI 116i Retrofit, M aerodynamic kit.

You might also consider the front bumper only to meet your request precisely: 1' F20 LCI 116i M Trim, front + 1' F20 LCI 116i M trim decor elements, front, but it looks like a spare rather than retrofit ("For vehicles with M Aerodynamics package").

Thanks for all your replies.

1) Front bumper. I have just today put sensors on the car, so will be buying a front splitter £130 off EBAY instead.

2) USB- I plugged it into the car = nothing. Plugged it into the computer.. spotify kept trying to open :s

3) Parking sensors were put on today. £330, look good front and back. Rocker switch for front is too low under the dash but oh well. There is a beeper for front and back (nothing comes on dash #oldskl) http://www.roadradio.com/....

4) So... i drive. My car ONLY has upgraded radio apparently (and not even DAB). I am unable to do anything with mine unless I get a retro fit, even then will need an antena. Very costly and am I that bothered? not really... more distractions i guess . fyi BMW live has been discontinued.
