Hi everyone!

Until now, I have had a 10.25'' aftermarket screen in my car. It was originally delivered with the 6.5'' screen (Navi Business).

I acquired an 8.8'' screen from an acquaintance for very little. I installed it, coded it with Bimmercode, but it says ‘no signal’.

It seems that this screen was delivered just on the border of the NBT/NBT Evo system and I read online that it will therefore not work with my head unit.

Can anyone confirm this to me?

Production month: 07.2016 (No EVO system)

probably your 8,8 screen is APIX2 and your headunit is APIX1.
you would need a new headunit.
i did the same awhile ago, purchased a 8.8" screen with realoem part numbers but screen turned out to be APIX2, and didnt work with my old headunit.
I retrofitted NBT ID6 headunit and used APIX2 8.8" screen without problems.
so there is not much you can do if you are on the same boat.
