IDK why BMW doesn't offer a paint protector film as a factory option, I expect they'd sell loads

I love it! That is such an art to be able to do that. And the colour...reminds me of the old Taiga Green from long ago but moderned up in matte. Not as bright as the current Java but just like this car - if it was out in the sun of course. Thanks Dackel...once again, brilliant pics!!

So you do not have to have paperwork to change your car color with the motor vehicle? I just do not understand how wrapping is treated? Is it the same like changing the color?

I wanted to bite my tongue, but couldn't. Have you ever wrapped anything? Or done any mods yourself for the sake of doing it?
Sometimes you have to take a step back (and off the high horse) and appreciate the effort/work put in, and save your negativity for the gym.
I've wrapped a few things, and I can admit if they weren't such small parts, I would have posted them as well. People gather inspiration from more than just what the masses consider "eye catching." It is not my color of choice, but I am color blind, would you mind enlightening me as to why I shouldn't appreciate the work?

Good effort i would agreed why changed the whole and not partial eg side mirrors caps or roof! Job wise seen it before however what would be the downside to the color under with all that glue on it! is it easy to remove or would it leave a mark

Sorry for concentrating on the non-car bit, but how do you perceive different kinds of reds/greens?
Say you see a Ferrari red Ferrari, is it the same like an Alpina Green BMW then?

I'd really like to see a graphic showing different Pantones that are perceived as the same by colour blind people

It's very impressive how they can get the wrap to look so natural. And this shop in particualr went o great lengths and paid great attention to details.

I think I would have liked the color more if it were a bright metallicy color. But "I get it". It's a cool color. And I also realize this may be very popular in Europe. Looks nice!!

Because people get bored?

You realize the wrap does not damage the underlying paint, right? It can go back to Estoril Blue tomorrow.

Which is easier? Slapping a wrap on it and enjoying it for a few months, and try a different color each year ... or selling the whole car?

I've wrapped some small parts, and have an appreciation of the time and patience it takes. Great job and very well done! Not my choice of color, but it's not my car.

With the amount of work involved, I'm not sure "slapping" is the right word

"just buy another car"...you are not serious about this I know. The reason I did it is because there as SO many white cars here and I like to spice things up + to protect the original paint...

A different kind of blue

I like that colour!
I guess it's a really expensive way to protect the paint, and as a side benefit you get the colour change, how much does it cost one to wrap then unwrap?

The dust/particles in the air here in China is crazy, so you need to wash your car 2 times/week, even when its not raining, if you want to keep it nice - I think thats taking its toll on the paint.

Naaaaaaa...thats just a bad excuse - I like to be different

(I paid 8000RMB to have mine wrapped with 3M 1080 Sky blue)
