m135i vibration sound

hi all

i have a 2014 m135i with 40000miles(64000km) with two separate issues i would assume

ISSUE 1
i have been getting this weird vibration sound(its sounds metallic) through out the rpm in comfort and sport mode and when the engine is hot and cold.
(BMW have checked the ASD and it is not the cause of this sound)

ISSUE 2
further to this i have another separate issue where the steering wheel vibrates at around 1000rpm and can be felt touching touching the body panels of the car as well. this vibration gets progressively worse as you accelerate through a corner at bit of pace and as the speed increases to 140kph where the car feels like the alignment is out ( i have just replaced all 4 tires with mpss and the alignment has been done twice in the past (60miles/100km)

bmw replaced the following to try fix the issue

the water pump
tappet cover and seal
oil pump
vannos seals
engine mounts
steering rack
vbelt and pulley

both problems still exist does any know or have any insight into what may be the cause? PLEASE HELP

The vibration from ISSUE 2 happens when in neutral with the car stationary so there's no load on the engine. The vibration always happens upon deceleration of rpm's also so as the car drops from 1100rpm the vibration can be felt.
could it be the exhaust rubbing or the guibo/center bearing or a crank balancer?

or is this bearing knock

i just did a test if i put the car in neutral and hold it at 3500rpm the vibrations get worse

edit

i have just read a interesting forum on bimmerpost

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/showth...p?t=949816

the problem could possibly be a low pressure ac pipe that is creating the vibrations. my vibrations get worse with the ac on vs off

Well, all the rattle I can hear in the video appears to come from the "something" swinging on the mirror (You know that kind of things distract and fatigue the driver's attention, or so they say - I never tried that myself. But it's a different story, of course.). When looking closely I also had an instant impression it was related to that "thingy" down below that appears to move on it's own (If it's an MT lever where's the hand moving it?) but I'd really hope it's not.

So, did you suspect the cooling function? Say, turn the AUTO program off, turn the cooling off while the climate is on - any difference? Or did you mean "Air Cooling" over "Air Conditioning" already? Also, did BMW consider the A/C compressor?

they did check this said its all fine
there was a part of the exhaust that was rubbing on the fire wall and they fitting a dampener or weight thing to the low pressure air con pipe (this pipe runs over the charge pipe they say this is likely the cause of my vibrations. i will get the car back today and see if the issue is fixed.

weight 64539322952
