Individual look

POST YOUR PICS OF YOUR INDIVIDUAL F20/21/22 Let us know what you have done to yours
THIS WILL HELP OTHERS SEE WHAT IS POSSIBLE.

I have added the latest pics to this first post so that everyones can see the change

Hi all
I enjoy reading all the varied posts.
Over the last year or two, I have noticed many of us have made some 'subtle' and 'not so subtle' changes and modifications to the looks of our F20 and F21 and have shown them on many different posts.
I thought it would be a good idea if we had all the mods on the one thread
If you have done something different on your 1er or 2er you could post the photos of the mod here so that we can all see them on the one thread.
This way, you can share it with us and assist others with information on the mods.

MY 125i M Sport
Along with the BMW Performance bits underneath and the side skirt decals, I have just added a simple change to the look of mine with the use of some simple vinyl work at the lights. The vinyl was done by a graphic artist friend of my who used auto sticker vinyl to make these. I will be doing a few changes later

And yes, the damage under the front lip is from one of those stupid concrete wheel stops used at our shopping centres here.

I am adding a few mods and some superficial changes to my 125 this Friday.
Mostly cosmetic. If they work out I will post it

hey ausf20 looking forward to seeing what you do. You seem to not be a fan of the angry birds look! Would you consider a 2 series front on your car? I think the 2 series has the best front lights and bumper bmw have designed. The f20 with msport is fine me thinks though Just wish their m perf spoiler was a little more aggressive

You are correct, I am not a big fan of the angry bird look!
It was the only thing I had against the F20. Having said that, it did not stop me from buying the 125i M Sport. I love driving it.
I am considering something a little different to set mine apart. I too think the 2 series has great lights. At this stage, I am just going to play with some design differences with the m sport spoiler to make it a little more aggressive.

Cool show us once you are done. The f20 msport has a more aggressive bumper than the lci in my opinion. Having said that I think the f20 msport is behind in the aggressiveness compared to the 2er and the a45! Does that make sense!

I like the M235i. I would have a M235i over a A45 or CLA45 any day.
I think that the Merc's front looks too big (it is not proportional to the size of the car) and I am not a fan of the long overhang in front of the wheels.
It does give the designer more scope to use shapes though.

Has any one gone the interior carbon route i.e. handbrake gear knob etc from M performance as I do fancy this but am I just throwing money away for the sake of spending it? I collect my M235i on Friday 30 Jan.

I Recently bought the M Performance interior, (door handles, Dash pad,Idrive surround) on a BMW page for around $750 AUD, but had been quoted $1200 AUD, which I think is way over priced.

It does change the interior look and feel , but its not worth $1200.
Just troll the forums and something will come up .

I now have my M235i delivered today, WOW! Carbon interior parts ordered and should be fitted in a week or so. It was a late handover this afternoon so will hopefully post some pics on Saturday. Spec Estoril blue, black Dakota interior, adaptive suspension, Pro media and Harman Kardon etc... I'll do a full writeup later, but favourite toy? adaptive headlights, really do work well .

I like what u did to your diffuser looks much better. the front bottom looks pretty good too. If you extended the spoiler wrap to the edge of the bumper and you put a splitter on that would suit it well. not sure why no one can produce a similar spoiler for the front like the 2er. The f20 m perf addon is a little lame. not sure about the lights though. I would have left them as is but all in all some nice enhancements

Individual look

Hi guys, I'm new here and thought I'd share some small things I did to my 116i Sport this weekend.

REAR END
Before: (it's not my car, i forgot to take a before)

After: (I wrapped the bottom of the bumper to give it a sportier look)

FRONT END
Before:

After: (wrapped mirrors & the silver trim next to fogs, also smoked headlights with vinyl and fitted gloss black grills)

Next I'm wrapping the roof black and fitting some mtec superwhite HID bulbs to finish it off

Can upload more pics of rear bumper if anyone wants me to

Cheers guys
