In my experience, my children are the only exception....and even they have their limits that I will allow them to push me to. I love my children more than life itself and would gladly lay down my life for them, but when it comes to common sense or finances, I will only help them if they are making strides in helping themselves first. I've managed to get rid of all negative influences in my life; it wasn't easy as most were family. Funny thing is they still keep having the same awful shit happen to them and my life is skyrocketing.
