BMW FS credited me for unused lease miles

I was happy to see a $250 credit on my new M2 statement from BMW finance today as I had turned in my 530e lease with only 30k miles out of the allowable 36k.
Did a quick search to find this:

Percent of Contractual Miles not Utilized
10%-14.9%
15%-24.9%
25%-100%

Credit Offered for Unused Mileage
$200
$250
$300

With a lot of folks not driving due to Covid I bet others will be getting this so if you don't make sure you go back and ask for it.

Hey that's not too shabby. It's not much, but is sure as hell better than nothing.

I'm currently leasing a 2018 Honda Accord Sport, but awaiting delivery of my 2021 M340i. Honda does not provide any credit for unused mileage, which sucks. Regardless, I'll either be trading the Accord in towards the M340i or selling it to the highest bidder (CarMax, Carvana, etc.). Thankfully, the used car market is BOOMING right now, so values are incredibly advantageous.

Nice - I hope this is the case on my QX60. We're going to be way under miles (thanks COVID). Probably for the best since i've always felt that the CVT transmission is always on the hairy edge of self destruction.

Over by 6k miles and they charge you $1500, under by 6k miles and they give you $250? As said, better than nothing but I think they like it when you are significantly over or under.

I would find a way to drive the 6000 miles and return it one mile below the allowance. It's call principal.
