Not happening. No M860i nor X8 M60i either. The 6.6L N74 will exit after the current generation 7 Series does. The 6.8L will live on at Rolls Royce indefinitely.

Indefinitely?

That's somewhat hard to fathom.

For an unspecified period, in other words. It’ll be around as long as Rolls is still building ICE vehicles. It’s anyone’s guess how long that’ll be.

I'm sure their days are just about as numbered as all the other major players.

Imagine driving an absolutely silent RR Ghost ⁉️

Sure, and that’s my point - no one knows yet exactly how long that will be.

I guess until this customer segment finds it no longer cool to drive an ICE. In this round of the elderly, this can of course still take a while.

BMW i7 Spied in New Production Body

New spy shots of the i7 were taken today and this is the first time we see it wearing its new production body since previous spy shots show the i7 using the current 7-series body despite the i7 being based on the next-generation 7-series. It can also be seen that the i7 is using a lot of cameras most likely for BMW's self-driving technology.

Is this also the first G70 spotting? I can't remember. In any case one wonders how the i7 will be received against competitors with sheet metal that is not shared with a traditional model such as the upcoming EQS.

If nothing else, like the G26 i4 as compared to the G28 "i3 Series" (which will only be sold in China), an i8 Gran Coupe might be a more exciting proposition.

What about them? They aren't production parts yet, and the little areas that are circled are cameras/radars.

Is it just me or do the door handles look different too? They look flush with the body in some of the pics.

The new 2er also had flush handles in the spy pics, as does the i4 concept. Could be a new design feature for future models.

Surprised at the amount of front overhang showing on that shot from the side.
