Hey AusF20 here is what I was saying earlier in this thread about adding a splitter and painting or wrapping the bottom bits of the spoiler. In my opinion this looks pretty damn nice and aggressive

That looks slick I have decided to go for a custom made thin blade. It will have a similar look to the splitter on a M235i. Hopefully it will be finished next week and I can then have it fitted. I will post the pic when I have it on |

Looks better than other lips and I loved the carbon fiber wrappings AusF20 , I'm thinking about getting one too now but with the sides going until the end of the bumper like an original M235i lip. Is yours made of plastic or something else?

As it could be fixed in several locations, It is made from HDPE PE100 (solid black 15mm sheet) shaped to suit the contours. Tough and easily repaired if damaged. Last edited by AusF20/F48; 05-05-2015 at 01:55 AM.. |

The small aluminum fins were sourced from an aircraft.
I think you could find something that would work just as well. Last edited by AusF20/F48; 05-06-2015 at 06:47 AM.. |

Hi all
I have edited my first post by adding some of the pictures of the cosmetic mods so that first time viewers could see the changes on the one page. I will try to make sectional templates of the lip design in A4 so that a full pattern can be made available. I hope to be able to post it soon. Last edited by AusF20/F48; 05-25-2015 at 01:17 AM.. |
