^^ I didn't know Steve Aoki was old enough to have a grandson.
BTW, in case you didn't know, we have a "New Song" thread here as well. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1903188

R.I.P. Gaston Bogaerts. He was part of the Belgian group who made this 'racy' song 50 years ago.
"The song reached #8 in the 1972 United States Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at #29 in the United Kingdom. "Jungle Fever" was banned by the BBC, who took exception to the song's heavy breathing and moaning. The song was a greater success in America, selling over one million copies and being awarded a gold disc by the R.I.A.A. in March 1972. Billboard ranked it as the #51 song for 1972." Sampled by the likes of 2 Live Crew, Public Enemy, New Kids on the Block, The Brand New Heavies, Louie Vega, etc. Also featured in GTA: San Andreas. He was 101. The Chakachas - "Jungle Fever" (1972):

For the past two days, on and off, I've been listening to a Rhino Records 4-CD set, the Doo-wop Box. 1950s stuff. Before my time as a teen when I started listening to music, but I enjoy it. Mostly black artists and some equisite harmonies.

Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and "The Big Bopper" J. P. Richardson were all killed in a plane crash. The day the music died.
