I've never been comfortable getting gifts from women I've dated, at least in the earlier stages. It feels like they're trying to buy loyalty, that they wish to manipulate me into feeling that I owe them something in return for the gifts. Or maybe they're trying to impress me with their financial status. And I really don't need any more "stuff" to keep track of and clean around. I already buy too much stuff, without any outside help.

I completely understand. I love free shit THAT I CAN ACTUALLY USE. Who knows what the reasons are, but I'm smart enough to not let it sway me. These women are clearly not serious relationship material so I will just ride the wave until it crashes per usual

Had a passenger months ago tell me he met some chick at a bar and took her home. He told me that he was pouring drinks for them at his place and she must have slipped something in his drink while he wasn’t looking. Next thing he remembers is waking up, gold watch, money, credit cards all gone.

I wonder has anyone here fell victim to this? I haven’t been in the dating game since 2004 and times have changed, however, maybe it’s not a good idea to discuss personal finances off the bat on a first date? Seems that these woman prey on men and get them with their guard down by flirting/showing interest really hard.

So guys, if you bring a bitch home after meeting her 49 seconds ago, keep your eyes wide open on your drinks and food dammit.

Years ago during the midst of the first divorce, a customer of mine who had flirted with me for years finds out that I am getting divorced. We go out for dinner and drinks, had an enjoyable time. The following weekend, I went to her place and stayed the night. The following weekend, she came to my place and stayed the night. We stayed up late and eventually went to sleep. When I woke up, she was gone....and so was a lot of my stuff. She stole mostly home items. Candles, pictures, knick-knacks and whatnot. Wallet, watches, money credit/debit cards all still in place. She changed her number and I never heard from her again. Strange indeed.

Glad to hear it went well.

Everyone may be different, but I've cooked/eat enough chicken for a few lifetimes.

But hot and fast has always worked for me. The faster you can cook it without scorching it, the better it has always been for myself.

So I've been going about it all wrong? I don't drink so it's was usually me trying to get them a ride home safely....or putting them up in the guest bedroom. And I rarely sleep.

But they were typically the ones cutting loose. I've told you guys about the girl with the Ambien.....I had one of her friends out one time, and had to carry her off the stage as she was trying to sing karaoke to me.

Usually the next day.....they would be blowing up.my phone making sure they didn't do anything to offend me.
