Lane Departure and Collision Warnings question
Hello everyone,
on my F21 2015 lane departure warning only vibrates and doesn't try to counter-steer the car. Is this normal for these cars? I also have no settings in NBT EVO to configure it, it just informs me when it's switched on. Can it be coded to counter-steer? Collision warning is set to early and sometimes it shows red sign in instrument cluster as a warning but never beeps or brakes. I don't have distronic so I read that it works up to 60kmh or 35mph. Once I got in a situation when going faster I was too close to another car, got a sign, no beep, but when I braked the brake pedal was already firm. How to get it beeping? Because if for some reason my attention is not on road then it's probably not on instrument cluster too. Sorry for stupid questions, it's my first BMW with these features. Many thanks. |

collission warning only detects cars that ar standing still.. it is not supposed to detect a car that is driving in front of you ( read manual) ... 2015 only vibrates.. no steering
