Ok I tried googling but I can't see a difference with the interior centre console in the LCI.
Does someone have a better prelci pic?

It's worth noting that the last time BMW change sheet metal as part of an LCI was in 2008 for the MY09 E90 and E91 LCI. I thought BMW would never do that again, so good on them for spending a bit extra money to really spruce up a car mid-life cycle.
And again, I really hope the fact that the appearance of LED headlights and taillights all the way down on the 1-series means that they'll be standard on higher models from here on out (even pre-LCI).

The biggest difference is in the climate control console.

Works fine in Chrome, so maybe Safari is interpreting the code wrong. Who uses Safari anyway??

It's a nice car, looks exciting.
Do not understand why BMW does not offer it in the US yet? It would be a great idea to buy such a fun and sporty car. |

I like the way the led strip runs inside the taillight. But the housing of it looks too big for the car. Now it looks more x1 or 3 series touring like.

Looks like the metal hasn't changed at the front . Lamps are still massive. Only acceptable on new gawping m sport bumpers. Restyle rather than actually shrinking the overly large lamps. Still not great.

BTW, love this car! Design is head and shoulders over the droopy last gen! I'm sure it looks even better in person.
You can't compare it to other BMW's though. You have to think of this in terms or the Ford Focus, GTI, Mazda3 and Audi A3's out there. When you put them side by side, and run them around the track, the BMW immediately stands out. Sorry for not reading, but is this made on the FWD platform they have been talking about for so long? Or is it still RWD? |
