I requested a delivery in July because my current BMW 118d is a lease contract that expires 3rd september. Would have loved to get it earlier though, but there's not much point in having two cars for a few months. Yours should definitely arrive beginning of June :-)

I also went for the ED edition, as it should consume much less. We'll drive pretty much the same car then!
I have one remark as you ordered your car on monday, Dafila. Not sure if you noticed it, but BMW introduced a new pack (JOY Pack) on tuesday I think. This pack includes metallic color, alloys (also sport line alloys) and multifunctional steering wheel. My salesman didn't know about the new pack yet, so I ordered my car with those 3 options separately. Yesterday I gave him a call and he changed the contract for me, including this new pack, and received the 200 euro pack discount. So might be useful for you |

I wonder why it was cheaper for you, as the multifunctional steering wheel is already in the comfort pack and the sports pack. I've got the sports pack with the 376 wheels. The ones in the joy pack are 378. Yeah will be more or less the same car:
Here's my config : 116D ED Color: Sapphire black Sports line Comfort pack plus Business Navigation Harman Kardon Sound System Sun protection glass Xenon lights |

I also ordered the 376 alloys and JOY pack includes them too if you have chosen for Sport Line. I don't know how BMW calculates the prices exactly, but I configured it online to test it. When I configure my car without the joy pack, it costs 34030 euro. When I add the JOY Pack, everything in my car stays the same and the price drops to 33830 euro.
I reckon this is because the pack gives you a 200 euro discount if you take those 3 options. But because you already have those options, you get the 200 euro discount anyway. |

I think I know why now.
376 Alloys are in Sport Line Multifunctional Steering Wheel is in Comfort Pack Plus So 2 out of the 3 parts in JOY Pack are in other packs, and they are 'left out of the JOY package'. So JOY Pack for my only consists of metallic color and the price of the pack is 470 euro (instead of 800 euro) for me and the normal price for metallic color is 670 euro. If you want to save 200 euro, it's definitely worth to have a look at it. |

Hi Pieter90 and welcome, I'm new to this forum too.
I took delivery of my 118i M Sport on 28 March and I am thrilled with everything about it. This is my 3rd 1 Series, my first being a 5 door 120i Sport in Graphite Grey which I bought when the car was originally launched in the UK (Sept 2004) and this was replaced (Sept 2007) by a 3 door 120i M Sport in Le Mans Blue. Great cars with the new version being the best yet with improved interior finish, looks and performance. Cheers |
