I have the NBT EVO ID4 system (F20 LCI production date April 2015) in my bmw but I’m not sure if I will be able to install an OEM reverse camera? Is it compatible with my head unit?

Put the last 7 digits of the vin into realoem.com/bmw

Then locate your car and then browse the various categories.

I had a quick look with a random 1.8i 2015 F20 but couldn't see any reverse camera listed. (It would mainly depend on your head unit)

Reversing camera appears on the parts list. How do I know if my head unit is compatible? Surely if it’s on the parts list then my headunit must be compatible from factory?

Enter the vin into one of the online BMW vin decoders.

This will produce the spec including the head unit type, usually in the multimedia 6xx section.
