I bought the said gauge but it won't show oil temperature and my rpm tachometer

Oil temperature and pressure are not OBD2 parameters so unless the device is specially produced for a 118i it won't be able to show it.

Engine RPM should be displayed.

(I can only see the oil temp & pressure on my 116i using a BMW specific code reader)

You should ask the seller for help.
