Lennon was in fact the biggest critic of the Beatles themselves and not happy with more than a few of their songs.

RIP David. That's too young to go.

Good one, Rick. Thunderclap Newman were formed by Pete Townshend and the producer/manager of The Who, Kit Lambert. Always liked this song.

I may have posted this before, but I saw Van Morrison and Lee Michaels on a Sunday night at the Family Dog in San Francisco in...1967?...the place was small enough already and it was practically empty that night...it was my introduction to both artists, it was magical, and I'll never forget it or either performer. It was one of those times that sticks with you.

I remember you posting about this concert. It sounded great! I replied telling you my older sister, who I just mentioned in the "you know you're old" thread, loved Lee Michaels and had a crush on him. Her favorite song by him was his big hit: Do You Know What I Mean.

Déjà vu

The Beatles with their different group names later on did hundreds if not a thousand songs. One of many I like is Paperback Writer.

I think John was okay with this one!

I like this one too, Rick. From the Hey Jude album. A collection of non-album singles and B sides.
